Episode #53: PRTI

This episode’s guest is Chris Hare. The CEO of PRTI, where he is recycling used tires, breaking them down into their raw components and generating power to mine Bitcoin with it. As far as I’m concerned, this is the energy transition! Converting what would otherwise be a waste product, converting it into useful materials, harnessing the energy into a digital store of value that has no shelf life, and can be sent around the world at the speed of light. Pretty amazing stuff!

We talk about how PRTI has cracked the code on how to turn what most would consider trash, into a profitable and scalable business model. Lastly, we discuss how Bitcoin mining is a free-market solution that is driving sustainable energy technologies and completely changing the way we think about the future of energy.
